Production Process
Hot-press & Molding
Fiberglass mats are impregnated with a specially formulated polyester resin, then laid up in sequence and pre-pressed to remove air and ensure proper resin distribution. The layered stack is subsequently hot-pressed under high temperature and pressure using large hydraulic presses, forming solid sheets with uniform thickness and excellent surface quality. After curing, the sheets are cooled, trimmed, and cut into standard sizes for further use or machining.
Quality Inspection
Each batch undergoes rigorous testing for mechanical properties, dielectric strength, flame resistance, and dimensional accuracy. Products are certified to meet UL, SGS and REACH standards, ensuring compliance with international regulations.
Raw Material Preparation
The process begins with the selection and preparation of high-quality raw materials, including unsaturated polyester resin, glass fiber reinforcement, aluminum hydroxide, fillers, and flame retardants. For GPO-3, specific additives are included to enhance arc resistance and thermal stability.
Machining & Finishing
Both SMC and GPO-3 sheets can be further processed using CNC engraving machines for precision machining. This includes cutting, drilling, slotting, and shaping into custom insulation components as per customer specifications.
Shipment & Delivery
At Synkoo Materials, we ensure that all SMC and GPO-3 insulation sheets and machined parts are securely packaged and shipped to guarantee product integrity during transportation.
Sheet products are typically shipped in flat plate form, stacked on pallets with protective wrapping to prevent surface damage and moisture exposure. Each pallet is securely strapped and wrapped for stability during transit.
Machined insulation parts are carefully packed in durable cartons, with internal cushioning materials used to prevent movement and abrasion. Each carton is clearly labeled for easy handling and traceability.
We support various shipping methods based on customer preferences, including sea freight, air freight, railway shipping and land transportation, and can provide custom packaging solutions upon request to meet specific handling or export requirements.
